Based on feedback received from the prior reporting period, we have made changes to the Nevada Gaming Commission Regulation 3.100 Key Employee report and the related instructions. The changes will simplify the reporting process and provide clarification to questions which arose in the prior reporting period. The changes are as follows:

  • It is no longer required to report the employer of the person being reported.  The report focuses on the licensed locations where the person being reported performs the duties specified in Regulation 3.100.
  • The instructions now provide direction to the location on the Board’s website where the location or license number can be found.  This site lists the location numbers for all licensees.  If the Key Employee report is prepared by a holding company, it is necessary to contact the Tax & License Division to obtain the location number for the holding company.
  • The group classification number – Group 1, 2, or O – applies to the licensed location where the duties are performed by the employee being reported.   If the employee performs duties at multiple licensed locations, each licensee must be listed separately and the duties must be reported for each licensee.
  • Job codes are required only for Qualifying Employees.  If a person is being reported for other reasons – for example they supervise a Qualifying Employee or they have authority to enter into contracts – their job title will be adequate disclosure.
  • Only people who directly supervise a Qualifying Employee need to be reported for that category.
  • The newly revised forms are available for immediate use. If you have any questions, please contact Deputy Chief John Flynn of the Investigations Division or Deputy Chief Shirley Springer of the Audit Division. Use the links below to access the forms.
